Training Courses
InStyle believe in promoting fitness for all. This is carried through into its courses, bringing variation and hence motivation into all classes.
The courses are based around the aerobike but can and should be varied preventing the classes from becoming predictable and monotonous, and at the same time challenging the participants to give their best performance.
One day courses can be tailored to suit any requirements, basic structures are as follows:
Basic Instructors One Day Course
Teaching the basics of indoor cycling;
Minimising orthopaedic stress,
Safety in the studio and on the bike,
Safety of class participants, riding position,
Planning your course,
The use of music,
Elements of the aerobiking ride ie seated flat ride, hill climbs, sprinting etc,
Cooling down and stretching
Intermediate Training Course
Recovery, relaxed but motivational classes,
Fat burner classes, working the heart hard enough to prepare for a steady sustained moderate pace,
Strength building, increased resistance sustained over time to develop muscular strength and cardiovascular conditioning,
Structuring three months of sessions,
Adding non bike activities,
Games / distractions,
Advanced Training Courses
High intensity training with the use of heart rate monitors aimed at the experienced class participant wanting to challenge themselves
Junior Aerobike Courses
Targetting the 7 to 14 year old, the emphasis on putting fun into the classes to enable this age group to get the most out of aerobiking,
